PRINTED, BOUND BOOKLETS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE

We want citizens out in the field observing, asking questions, asserting the right to know. We know it will help to have a booklet you can put in your purse or jacket pocket, to remind you of what to look for and what kinds of questions to ask. Therefore, we have also printed booklets.

HOW TO GET COPIES OF TOOL KITS

First, e-mail your address and the quantity you need, and we'll send you the Tool Kits, regardless of whether you can make a donation or not.

Next, MAKE A DONATION if you can, knowing that the more robust the donation, the more Tool Kits we can push out the door. You will know what amount can work for you. We are not making the Tool Kits contingent on donations, but also know we DO NEED donations.

By Labor Day, we have so far distributed 16,000 Tool Kits to interested citizens and groups. We are doing this on faith that those who can will help with support, but we made a decision in July not to charge for the Tool Kits, period, and to get as many as we can into the hands of as many action-oriented people as we can. This is because we know this election will be very challenging for protection, and we hope not to be in a position on Nov. 5 of trying to push toothpaste back into the tube.

Below are the older 2006 Tool Kit Modules

These are completely different than the 2008 Kit, though you may find them helpful.

This is the first Black Box Voting Tool Kit, which contains actions that are not as time-sensitive as the stripped-down 2008 Tool Kit. The difference: The 2008 kit contains emergency actions to be done during the last days before the November 2008 election. The actions in the 2006 Tool Kit focus on long range actions.
